Living overseas is a unique experience, and Brownie Girl Scouts have the opportunity to earn a unique Proficiency Badge. Activities for this recognition were developed as a Gold Award project by a Senior Girl Scout on Okinawa.

Marine Life Brownie Proficiency Badge
In March 2008, Jessica Ehrlich and Emma Grubb created this award while earning their Bronze Award as Junior Girl Scouts. This is a great way for Brownie Girl Scouts to immerse themselves in the environment.
